Treating a horrible mouth infection in the Palestinian city of Qalqilya - continued

One week ago I shared the story of this dear hard working boy in the Palestinian city, Qalqilya.

He had to have a thorough cleaning of his badly infected mouth after his owner appealed to us for help when his donkey had stopped eating. His poor little mouth was full of sharp wheat heads and splinters that had embedded themselves in his gums and caused a terrible infection. We gave him pain relief and antibiotics. It's clear to see that although it's a slow process, after one week he is thankfully starting to heal.

I wish I could just scoop him up and take him back to our little sanctuary but all I can do is pray for him and ask God to bless him and watch over him and all the other innocent souls and keep them safe.

If you can, please help support our vital work by making a donation to our Israeli registered non profit organization, Lucy's Sanctuary for Holy Land Donkeys, registration number 580615110.  Your support will help to ensure we can always be here for these precious souls and others who sadly, often suffer so terribly here in the Holy Land. They need our help, we need your help. More info on how to help can be found here.

Thank you ❤️
